Ashgabat Cinema: Turkmenistan’s First 3D Movie Theater
The Ashgabat Cinema is located on Magtymguly Avenue near the Köpetdag Stadium, serving as the first 3D cinema hall in Turkmenistan’s capital, Ashgabat. This project was designed and built to include a 2D cinema hall with 500 seats, a 3D cinema hall with 70 seats, a café accommodating 50 people, a cyber café, two shops, and office space for cinema operators. Inaugurated on 29 June 2011, it marked the country’s inaugural 3D cinema experience.
