BMW Group is constructing a comprehensive vehicle factory in Debrecen, Hungary, scheduled to commence production in 2025 with a workforce of over 1,500 employees. The facility will include a press shop, bodywork, paint shop, vehicle assembly lines, and a specialized battery module plant for in-house battery cell assembly dedicated to electric vehicles. Operating under the BMW iFACTORY strategy, the plant will emphasize lean, green, and digital manufacturing principles.

During the Campus Festival, BMW Plant Debrecen will unveil its visionary concept car, the BMW i Vision Circular, which embodies the principles of circular economy and sustainable mobility. This showcase underscores the plant’s commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
